To climb up to Heaven
Every day,
I must feed my heart’s
Aspiration-flames.

Heaven is empty of justice-hands.

that someone is living in Heaven

To live with Me is to live in Heaven.

Is not for an unloving life.

THE MARRIAGE OF HEAVEN AND HELL
Where is the marriage
Of Heaven and Hell?
The marriage of Heaven and Hell
Is in the mind’s dry desert
And in the heart’s loving nest.

WHERE IS HEAVEN?
Where is Heaven?
Not in my ignorant sound-life.
Where is Heaven?
Not in my undying life-tears.
Where is Heaven?
Heaven is in my God-building heart.
Where is Heaven?
Heaven is in my self-offering light
And
God-becoming delight.

If earth gets tired
Of loving Heaven,
Heaven does not mind.
Perhaps God also does not mind.
But if ever Heaven gets tired
Of loving earth,
Earth will helplessly weep,
And God will use nothing
But His Volcano-Ire.

Complete silence
And
Perfect sound.
