Poems about heartbreak

Poems about heartbreak by Sri Chinmoy

If you have a sorrowful experience
In your inner life,
Disappointment must not break your heart.
For you have deep within you
The wisdom to transform
This sorrowful and painful experience
Into a joyful and fruitful realisation.

Sri Chinmoy (1)

We break God’s Heart
When we offer Him
The helpless tears
Of our sorrow-flooded hearts.

Sri Chinmoy (2)

A tiny tear can break
Not only a human heart
But also God’s Universal Heart.

Sri Chinmoy (3)

The heart may break
But not the heart-cry.
It is destined to grow
High, higher, highest,
To reach the heights
Of God-glory’s Vision-sky.

Sri Chinmoy (4)

God’s Smiles melt
My heart.
They do not break
My heart.

Sri Chinmoy (5)

The moment you break
All your human bonds,
God will give you
Not only a divine heart
But also His own Heart.

Sri Chinmoy (6)
