Short Poems on Angels

ANGELS FALL, MEN RISE

Angels fall
If they come too often to earth
To watch its pleasure-life.
Men rise
If they go too often to Heaven
To watch its treasure-light.

Sri Chinmoy (1)

Angels come
And angels dance,
But alas, nobody turns around
To watch.

Sri Chinmoy (2)

In the last dark hour
Of the night,
Angels come to love us
And awaken us.

– Sri Chinmoy (3)

My gratitude-heart
Is precisely the place
Where angels dwell.

Sri Chinmoy (4)

Angels descend from Heaven
To help the God-seekers
And God-lovers
To accomplish the impossible:
Man’s nature-transformation.

Sri Chinmoy (5)

God tells me
That my spirituality-tears
And
My spirituality-smiles
Are the real angels on earth.

Sri Chinmoy (6)

The presence of peace
Turns us into
Heavenly angels.

Sri Chinmoy (7)
