The speaker in you tells you
That you and he can transform
The length and breadth of the world.
The listener in you tells you
That you and he can manifest
God-Light, God-Truth and
God-Perfection on earth.
I tell you,
The listener in you is sincere and genuine.
Give him a chance.
He will do everything to please you,
To fulfil you.
Just give him a chance.

“I do not know.” This is indeed an answer. This answer satisfies the sincere seeker in us, for the sincere seeker does not stoop to insincerity. But we have to know how far this answer can lead us. Can it lead us to our destined Goal? No, never! We have to be able to say, “I know.” Continue reading I Do Not Know
Stillness is where we get the strength. The abode of stillness is in our higher mind or quiet mind. So if you can stay in that room, the quiet mind, then you can grow in stillness. It is stillness that creates. Creativity actually starts from stillness.
Even if one moves he may be still. I think stillness is like the eye of a storm, which is still, but around it, everything moves. I think also that artistic stillness, even if it has a lot of movement in it, has to be quiet at the centre.

In exchange for the tears of my sorrow
You have given me Your loving
And living Presence.
You live not for Yourself
But You live for my life’s satisfaction-smile
In the tears of my ever-climbing heart.

I always cherish a dream
And that dream is the dream
I always cherish a reality
And that reality is the reality

Question: What does God really think of me?
Sri Chinmoy: God always thinks of you as His dream—not an old dream but a new dream. Every day He thinks of you as a new dream, specially on your birthday. On that day He thinks of you as an unprecedented dream of His. On every individual’s birthday, God thinks of that particular individual as His unprecedented dream, that is unlike any other dream.

The only breathing exercise a spiritual aspirant really needs is to try to breathe in purity. While breathing in, if he consciously imagines and feels that he is breathing in Perfection from above, then the limitations inside his system are automatically transformed. The moment we breathe in consciously, the prana inside us has more value. But to go through many vigorous exercises is not at all necessary for God-realisation. If we can breathe in slowly and deeply, and have a devoted feeling toward the Supreme and toward humanity while breathing, we will be able to enter into the world with our divinised breath.

Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude.
Gratitude is a miracle-action in us. This miracle-action strengthens our physical body, purifies our vital energy, widens our mental vision and intensifies our psychic delight.

I pray to God and meditate on God. I pray to God because God is my Lord, my sovereign Lord, my Lord Supreme.
I meditate on God because God is my Friend, my eternal Friend, my only Friend.I pray to God because He is powerful and thoughtful.

Thought is transitory;
It will die soon.
Despair is stationary;
You can leave despair alone
And triumphantly run away.
