Hate Poems
I will tell you whom to hate. Hate him only who thinks ill of himself.
Sorry, don't hate him, but hate his folly.
I do not hate the world,
Not because I do not know
How to hate,
But because God does not want me
To hate.
I love the world,
Not because I know how to love,
But because God,
Out of His boundless Bounty,
Loves the world
In me, through me and for me.
Excerpt from The Golden Boat, Part 12 by Sri Chinmoy.
HOW CAN I HATE YOU?
I shall leave you
If I have to.
I shall forget you
If I have to.
I shall forgive you
If I have to.
But I shall not hate you
Even if I have to.
How can I hate you,
Whom I have loved so devotedly
And so unreservedly?
Excerpt from I Need Only God by Sri Chinmoy.
