Hate Poems
I do not hate the world,
Not because I do not know
How to hate,
But because God does not want me
To hate.
I love the world,
Not because I know how to love,
But because God,
Out of His boundless Bounty,
Loves the world
In me, through me and for me.
- Sri Chinmoy (1)
HOW CAN I HATE YOU?
I shall leave you
If I have to.
I shall forget you
If I have to.
I shall forgive you
If I have to.
But I shall not hate you
Even if I have to.
How can I hate you,
Whom I have loved so devotedly
And so unreservedly?
Sri Chinmoy.(2)
Today
If you are afraid of someone,
Tomorrow
You will be inclined to hate him.
- Sri Chinmoy (3)
I will tell you whom to hate. Hate him only who thinks ill of himself. Sorry, don't hate him, but hate his folly.
