Poems on Time by Tagore

The butterfly counts not months but moments,

and has time enough.

~

Time is a wealth of change,

but the clock in its parody makes it mere change and no wealth.

~

Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time

like dew on the tip of a leaf.

~

Rabindranath Tagore

  1. R. Tagore“s specialty poetry actually deploys beauty around philosophical issues of what is life.
Does anybody really know what time it is?
Sings and dances a song of “Chicago ” in which philosophy once more kneels and flirts with us the simple beings trapped in time illusion.
With love to poetry lovers, Rafael.
