"Love never dies at all"

Love dies and survives again, but stays its Spirit true,
if not in me, then it's in you.

When I let my love to dye, I am left with a desert inside,
so quickly I have to water what is left,
even if it's nothing,
it is enough to grow my visionary cactus of love there-
with pricles of non love and only one bud of love.

When I let my love to live...
Oh, let me leave my love inside.

What a lovely and most beautiful poem. I think the author is Friedrich Halm, if I am not mistaken. Thank-you for posting.
