Devotion

“Devotion is our soul’s fearless quality. Devotion does not mean begging from someone. Devotion means dedicated service to the divine child in us. It means intensity, the intensity that makes us feel one and not the intensity that separates and frustrates us. Devotion means entering into the superior part of one’s own existence. Devotion is the sweetest feeling in us, the feeling of oneness with something higher and deeper in us. It is the most intimate connection with our better self, purer self, higher, nobler and deeper self. It is the sweetest awareness of Truth…”

Just Remember

Just remember:
If you really love the Supreme
In your Master,
You will not do anything
To disappoint or displease Him.

No Matter When He Speaks

No matter when he speaks,
No matter what he says,
He always quotes
From God’s Forgiveness-Lectures.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 29 by Sri Chinmoy.

The Common Problem

The common problem is:
Man wants the uncommon solution.
The uncommon solution is:
Man satisfies himself
By getting the things
That he does not have.

Only The Future

He who wants to treasure
Only the future
Is sailing the boat
That will definitely sink
On the way.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 30 by Sri Chinmoy.

Even If You Fail

Even if you fail
In your inner examination,
Do not allow your mind
To become a surge of revolt,
For you will be given
Another chance.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 30 by Sri Chinmoy.

Each Moment

Each moment shall become
A fruitless eternity
If the calculating mind
Does not surrender
To the endless silence
Of the heart.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 30 by Sri Chinmoy.

Each Moment

Each moment shall become
A fruitless eternity
If the calculating mind
Does not surrender
To the endless silence
Of the heart.

A Free Ticket

You will be given
A free ticket to Heaven
If your heart is strong enough
And your life is pure enough
To knock on the world’s
Aspiration-door.

Excerpt from Twenty-Seven Thousand Aspiration-Plants, Part 30 by Sri Chinmoy.

Apocalypse

Within, without the cosmos wide am I;
In joyful sweep I loose forth and draw back all.
A birthless deathless Spirit that moves and is still
Ever abides within to hear my call.

I who create on earth my joys and doles
To fulfil my matchless quest in all my play,
I veil my face of truth with golden hues
And see the serpent-night and python-day.

A Consciousness-Bliss I feel in each breath;
I am the self-amorous child of the Sun.
At will I break and build my symbol sheath
And freely enjoy the world’s unshadowed fun.
