SMILES
M. Ralte

When the days turn sour and grey,
I smiled a simple smile ;
When the days are bright and gay,
I smiled with my heart.

When sorrows left me blue and pale,
I smiled a simple smile ;
When happiness conquers sadness and pain,
I smiled with my heart.

When all hopes are death and gone,
I smiled a simple smile ;
When hopes brought forth fruit and gain,
I smiled with my heart.

Love not me for comely grace
John Wilbye's Second Set of Madrigals

LOVE not me for comely grace,
For my pleasing eye or face,
Nor for any outward part,
No, nor for a constant heart:
For these may fail or turn to ill, 5
So thou and I shall sever:
Keep, therefore, a true woman's eye,
And love me still but know not why—
So hast thou the same reason still
      To doat upon me ever!

Hindu Muslim, Muslim Hindu
Are two Brother Souls, the same, the same.
The same are their two sure GOALS.

Hindu blood, Muslim blood
Muslim blood, Hindu blood
Are the same blood in the Inner world.
In the Higher worlds these two proudly enjoy
their signal oneness flood.

(When I was reciting in front of Guru and the thousand
disciples, Guru recited with me at the same time the words "I do care for you, I do care for you" in the upper
one and "the same, the same, the same" in this one.)

God leads us in unexpected ways.
We must have implicit faith in Him.
His Compassion-Eye will never guide us astray.

The hardest lessons are by far the best for our
fastest spiritual prgress.

I do not pray for a safe road. I pray for infinitely more
carouge then I now have for my progress is my constant God-obedience.

Desires on any plane of consciousness can create serious problems.

My Master's earthly presence was a rare opportunity to conquer ignorance-night forever.

Where my spiritual children are I also am there, if you take me to hell, even there I will go, but with the hope that one day I will be able to bring you to Heaven.

It is a powerful disease, the feeling that your Guru does not love you, that your Guru does not care for you.
"I do care for you . I do care for you, but in my own way, in a divine way. My divine way nobody understands.

Avatar means the direct representative of God in human
form.

Your Master observes more than he admits.
Your Master loves more than he reveals.
Your Master cries more than you see.
Your Master gives more than you need.

Wrong thoughts are not conquered, they will come back to bother you again and again.

First you reject, then you accept, then you transform, finally you totally transcend

A sea of Peace and Joy and Light
Beyond my reach I know.
In me the storm-tossed weeping night
Finds room to rage and flow.

I cry aloud, but all in vain;
I helpless, the earth unkind
What soul of might can share my pain?
Death-dart alone I find.

A raft am I on the sea of Time,
My oars are washed away.
How can I hope to reach the clime
Of God's eternal Day?

But hark! I hear Thy golden Flute,
Its notes bring the Summit down.
Now safe am I, O Absolute!
Gone death, gone night's stark frown!

From ‘My Flute’ by Sri Chinmoy.

A sea of Peace and Joy and Light

This we are supposed to sing every day.
This is also a very, very favourite song from Sri Chinmoy

To have an Avatar as one's Guru is to find a safe harbour for one's life-boat.

My Lord must come first. My Lord must come last as well, and in between there must be none.

We do not meditate, it is the divine Grace that meditates in
and through us.

Pay no attention to world thunders, pay all attention to the sweet whispers of your inner pilot.

You on your part do not have to work as hard as you would have done without a Guru.

When we do not try our very best, we are compelled to have an God-empty life-road.

Do not depend on tomorrow. Do not depend even on today.
Just depend on now, this very moment.
