A Beautiful Rose

A beautiful rose
Was my gift to God.
Fortunately, I did not expect
Anything from God in return,
Not even a smile.
That is why I am divinely happy
And God is supremely proud of me.

The Human Mind

The human mind tries to gather
Even sorry-sounding excuses
So that it can avoid
The severe punishment
Of conscience-light.

Do Not Ask Mankind

Do not ask mankind
For its opinion
Once you have heard
God’s Life-Transformation-Command.

Spend Considerable Time

Spend considerable time
In finding sterling qualities
In others,
Rather than in finding
Their blazing faults.
Your mind will be full
Of peace-blossoms.

God Can and Does Do Everything

God can and does do everything
In and through others
As well as through you.
This truth will definitely help you
To have peace of mind.

Excerpt from Peace-Blossom-Fragrance, Part 6 by Sri Chinmoy

If You Allow

If you allow
Others to speak first,
Others to go first,
Others to become first,
Peace will, without fail,
Come to you first.

Excerpt from Peace-Blossom-Fragrance, Part 6 by Sri Chinmoy

Just Face The Truth

Do not allow worry
To devour you.
Just face the truth.
Peace will immediately
Befriend you.

Excerpt from Peace-Blossom-Fragrance, Part 6 by Sri Chinmoy

Let Tomorrow

Let tomorrow
Worry about tomorrow.
You just breathe in today’s
Peace.

Excerpt from Peace-Blossom-Fragrance, Part 6 by Sri Chinmoy

How Would you Characterise Real Peace of Mind?

“When we have peace of mind, when we have tranquillity, we feel that there is nothing that we have to achieve, nothing that we have to do for ourselves. Everything has been done by the Almighty, by our heavenly Father. Right now we are hankering after name, fame and many other things. But when we have peace of mind, we feel on the strength of our oneness with the rest of the world that everything the world has is ours.”
